Option Two - Using the Lightbox
Why the Lightbox?
This feature is not only cool but handy if you are trying view, sort and/or select images from multiple galleries or searches. Note this feature works on both Windows and OSX. |
Using the Lightbox feature - Creating a Login:
In the upper right corner of your browser click on the "Welcome Guest Login" button. You will be taken to a login page. If you have never created yourself a User Name and Password before enter it now. If you haven't created one in the past you will need to create one by clicking on the text link below "New users can register here." Just follow the instructions for creating an account. You create an account so you can store and share your created Lightboxes with the Stockpix Administrator and others via E-mail. |
Using the Lightbox feature - Adding images to your Lightbox:
Below each thumbnail or preview image is the Lightbox graphic (see right), just click on the "+" to add a picture to your lightbox. |
Using the Lightbox feature - Deleting images from your Lightbox:

Using the Lightbox feature - Other features:
The lightbox is full featured and by practicing with its interface you will find it extremely easy to use. The Icons from left to right are, "PREVIOUS" returns to previous photograph in your lightbox, "WORDS" common Keywords used in the Stock Photos Gallery (this can by useful if you are wanting to look for pictures containing a common keyword), "LIGHTBOX" will take you to the Gallery of Images you sent to your Lightbox, "NEW" will show you only newly posted pictures to the Stock Photos Gallery, "PLAY" will display all the pictures in your lightbox as a rotating slide show, "NEXT" will display the next photograph in your lightbox. |
Using the Lightbox feature - Lightbox Manager:
The lightbox also has a "Lightbox Manager" which will let you manage new and multiple lightboxes. "New" lets you create a new lightbox, "Activate" will let you choose which lightbox you can add or delete images from, "Rename" will let you rename a lightbox to a name of your choice, "Remove" will let you delete a lightbox, "Email" will let you email a lightbox (see the next section). |
Using the Lightbox feature - Email a Lightbox: When you click on the drop down Email button in the Lightbox Manager it will take a few seconds and generate an Email template for you to fill out (see picture right). All you have to do is fill in the blanks and send the lightbox.
And finally what are you looking for? - Using the search feature.
The search feature of the Stock Photos Gallery is probably the most powerful feature of all. If you wanted a quick seach of the images contained here you can search in all categories or in a specific gallery by using the pull down menu. Try it out by searching "All Categories" for Nick Didlick and then try searching for Nick Didlick in the Sports Category.
